Egyptian cotton is the softest and finest quality. What is Thread Count? The thread count is the number of horizontal and vertical threads per square inch. Thread count is related to the softness and the thickness of the sheet. In general, the higher the thread count, the higher the price. Most popular cottons will be around 150-200 thread count. Care Tips: 1. Egyptian cotton linens become softer and more luxurious with washing. Likely to wrinkle, until they have been washed a few times. 2. Wash all linens before use and avoid washing with Polyester fabrics. 3. Shrinkage will occur for all linens. Our sizing allows for expected shrinkage, 5% allowance added to the sizes shown in our size information. 4. Wash in warm water (no higher than 40C), using gentle detergent followed by cold rinse. 5. Always avoid chlorinated bleach & fabric softeners. 6. Remove from the washing machine straight away to avoid wrinkles. In the near future, if the responses are favourable, we will be bringing in more designs of these high quality linens.
