The material is average, slightly rough. It is not transparent or too thin. However actual piece is differs from the photo. The bottom of the dress is not really flare. I am 161 cm and the dress is above my knee. It looks longer on the model, perhaps she is not very tall. Overall this piece looks ok. Hope this helps you to make decision.
